Help Please! Beta 7 crashes on startup after upgrading from Vista to Win 7

Last night I upgraded from Vista to Win 7 Home Premium. When I try to start L4 it begins to load and then crashes. I have attached a log report.

That loads the program without a crash; but then if I open a resource or load it layout it crashes the program.

I took a look at your log file. Here's the crash:
OurApp Unhandled exception: System.ArgumentException: Width and Height must be non-negative
Looks like Logos is trying to call Windows to render a rectangle with negative width or height coordinates. Hmm... I've never seen that one before, and a Google search on this forum says that nobody else has encountered it either. Looks like one for Logos tech support.

I was going to say that the default layout was corrupt, but if you can't even open a resource into the blank layout, then I'm stumped. Time for Logos.

I did not know I had rectangles with positive or begative widths and heights. I just wanted to prepare a sermon for Sunday morning. Guess I'll try to contact tech support later, since I'm on central time. That is unless one of those fine Logos folks can post on solution on this thread.
Thanks for trying to help me figure this out.

Good ole L3 is still running. Guess I can work with that until I can get the problem figured out. I loved L3 for many years, but going back now is like moving from a steak to a hot dog.

The error is the same as the one in this post: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10923.aspx. Bradley filed a bug and it looks like a fix may make it in to the next beta.

custom highlighting was crashing me in Vista, but I was able to use L4 as long as I did not try to use the highlighting tool. In reading other posts from the past I discovered that I did not have .NetFramework 3.5 after my upgrade to Win 7. I am downloading that now to see if that will help.
Could the missing .NetFramework be the issue?

The error in the log doesn't indicate it. We generally recommend uninstalling and reinstalling our software if you do an in-place upgrade of Windows (especially true for Logos 3), but you may have reformatted before installing Windows 7. If reinstalling/repairing .NET fixes it, that will be much easier. Let me know what happens.
Thanks,
