Verbum 7 does not save last study page

Verbum 7 does not save last study page. All you have for saving a library book page or bible study passage is FAVORITES. But the problem is there are only 9 favorites to select. After the the 9 are filled you cannot save anymore bookmarks. I paid hundreds of dollars for a program that cannot save where you left off.

By default if you close a resource and then open it again later it should open to where you left off.
Is this not happening for you?

no, it doesn't. Verbum 7 opens to the Home page only. Also there is no save or bookmark page feature with this program

If you open a book from the library, the position in the book should be where it was last viewed. But you're talking here about opening Verbum 7 application. If you want the program to open up with all the windows as they were when it was closed you need to change a program setting.
Go to the Tools menu, then click on Program Settings. Change the "At Startup Open To" option to "Most Recent Layout - Any":
This will have it remember everything you were doing when you shut down the program.MacBook Pro (2019), ThinkPad E540

Are you saying that once the homepage is open, you are clicking on the library icon and opening your book and it's not where you left off?

There is no Logos 7 program now. It is called Verbum 7. Also Verbum has no bookmark feature at all. Yes, you can click on your "library tab" and then type in the name of the book or bible you wanted in the first place. But why should one need to do this when they were reading this the last time they had Verbum opened ?

Hi Ronald,
Todd's screenshot is from Logos, but this works exactly the same in Verbum. If you change this setting to "Most Recent Layout," as he describes, Verbum will open to whatever you last had open, rather than to the Home Page.
Note that you can also use the Layouts feature in the upper left to return to particular configurations of books and tools that you have used. It will automatically save the layout that you had open when you last closed the application, but you can also choose to save a particular layout with a name so that you can return to it at any time.

In Verbum and Logos, "Favorites" are distinct from "Bookmarks." If you have the Favorites tool open, your Favorites are listed at the top, and Bookmarks are listed at the bottom. Clicking "Add" at the top adds a new Favorite. (Ctrl+D [Command+D on Mac] also adds a Favorite.) There is no limit to the number of Favorites. Bookmarks, however, are intended for temporary quick access, and limit you to 9.

Logos 7 does still exist Ronald. Are you wanting to use Logos 7 or Verbum 7?
