Suggestion for Mobile Ed video player: Skip back / ahead 15 or 30 seconds button below video

Could FL please consider adding a simple "Back 30 seconds" button to the player, as well as an "Ahead 30 seconds" button. Or, perhaps, let it default to 15 seconds, but permit a long-hold to change the timing from 15 to 30 seconds.

As I am working through the Mobile Ed courses on my iPad, I like to take lots of notes (it's the only way dummies like me can remember anything!). Yet I find myself needing to go back and review something that was just said more and more. Usually I wil begin typing what was said and then will forget part of what was said before I am done typing.

As such, it would be very nice to be able to skip back 15 and/or 30 seconds to review what was just said by one of the lecturers.

Is there plans for such a feature on the iOS platform? Has this been suggested already? Has it been discussed internally at FL?

Any thoughts from others regarding usefulness and any feedback from FL concerning the possibility of such would be very much appreciated.

It is available with audio books including audio versions of mobile ed. I agree though it would be nice to have for mobile Ed videos if possible.

When I play a Mobile Ed video on my iPad it takes up the entire screen so I don't have anywhere to write notes. Are you using an iPad with split-screen capability, taking notes elsewhere or doing something else?

As such, it would be very nice to be able to skip back 15 and/or 30 seconds to review what was just said by one of the lecturers.

How much is it possible / acceptable to review what was said by looking at the transcripts instead of listening to the video segment?

Not suggesting this wouldn't be useful - just trying to see if I am missing something in how I use this!

Yes, I am using iOS split screen. It is very nice. It was not previously available..I know because I had been asking for it for a LONG time. But somewhere along the way in one of these recent updates, the split screeen functionality from iOS was added to Bible, which is very nice (See screen shot above - sorry about positioning - I am on my iPad and for some reason cannot dictate where the forum webpage places the picture). I am using Google Docs on the right, to take notes, and on the left I have a Mobile Ed video in "full screen" (and it is NICE that it only expands into full screen on the left panel, and not the entire screen).

The problem is that while in "full screen" mode, wactching the video, it would be a HUGE hassle to exit out of "full screen" (full SPLIT screen, actually) and then turn several pages to the transcript, and then turn back to the begining of the transcript (which is where the video link is). It almost is not worth the time to find the into in the transcript...it is much more efficient to pull the timing indicator bar back. The problem with doing that is that it either does not go back far enough (usually one or two seconds), or it goes back too much (usually 1 minute or more).

In this vein, it would be VERY nice to have a simple button on or near the timing indicator bar that would allow us to advance or rewind 15 or 30 seconds. I sure hope this functionality can be added at some point in the future. Although I do not present to be a programmer or to know the work of a programmer, I would not think this would be a major project to add this functionality.
