Like many others, I'm having trouble making this work (following the advice of the forum, I have re-indexed my library). I have been following a tutorial video and pause it every time it shows a Logos screen (I want to make sure I am duplicating what the narrator does). However, he is using Logos 6 and I have Logos 7. The tutorial is using 1 Cor 1:1-22 and is located at https://biblia.com/media/514155-4201762-- I have a commentary that is on this particular book of the Bible plus many of my other would have info on this book, and yet, I'm getting zero "hits."
I currently have "Search for All Text in History Collection for". This is left over from a previous search. The tutorial has "Search for All Text for." I don't know how to clear my previous description so I can have what the tutorial has. How do you clear previous parameters here?
I also notice that Logos 7 has 6 categories to the left of the magnifying glass (Basic, Bible, etc). The Logos 6 tutorial doesn't have these options so perhaps I'm doing something wrong with these categories. Also, I have the big magnifying glass under the Home Icon. The tutorial has a book (probably the Lexham Bible Guide. I don't have this guide in my library). However,at the beginning of the tutorial, the narrator, talking about Lexham Bible Guides, says you get info from them whether you own the guides or not.
Clearing up these problems may or may not fix my difficulty. But it seems like a good place to start.
