I'm not sure where the best place is to express this sentiment so thought I'd place it here.
First things first -
- I love Logos! it has revolutionized my bible study in ways i couldnt imagine - and I barely scratch the surface of what is possible with the software in my current workflow.
- I have never been treated anything but fairly by any Logos staff I have dealt with on the phone or email. I can tell you are all great people who are passionate about providing an excellent product
- I have loved Logos now and being able to access new features earlier
- Most importantly, I am not angry - Logos certainly has the right to set pricing as they wish, i just want to offer some brief feedback from a user perspective.
so here it is:
I am unfortunately unable to continue with Logos Now because you have killed the monthly subscriptions. I am sure for some people $90-$100 is small potatoes, but for me it is a huge amount to come up with all at one time. I am the sole breadwinner in my home, and I'm in a small rural church (read small salary, no book allowance - not that i'm in ministry for money, just a reality). $8.99 a month was a small luxury that I was able to afford myself because I could pay as I went. I would like to encourage Logos, that i appreciate your right to do what you wish with your product, but if there is any room for discussion on the subject, I would place my vote fully on reinstating monthly subscriptions. For some of us it made accessing those new features possible in a way that a yearly fee just does not.
My opinion is probably worth the cost of admission to this post, but I thought I would share anyhow.
