Horizontal divider in horizontal mode on Ipad
My wife has the Faithlife Study Bible on her Ipad. Recently the division between the two books (i.e. Bible and commentary) splits the books horizontally when she holds the the Ipad horizontally. It used to split the two books vertically in the mode. It still splits them horizontally when she holds in in vertically.
What is causing this?/How do we get it to act the way it used to?

I believe nothing has changed, at least on my iPad running the old iOS 9.3. When I hold the iPad upright, the window is split top/bottom. When I turn the iPad lengthwise, the window is split left/right. Perhaps things changed with iOS10 and the Bible! app?

Not related to iOS 10, as the split view still automatically switches from horizontal to vertical, depending on orientation.
Try closing the split view, then reopening it again. If that doesn't work, try force quitting the Logos app, or restarting the iPad.

That is the way it was and she wants it to be. Currently the split is always top/bottom.

I will have her reboot the Ipad. We have tried closing the split view and reopening.

If she is still having issues with the app, try posting in the iPhone/iPad Apps forum, to ensure that Kevin (one of the app developers) will see it and help.

Can someone tell me how to close the split view on my iPad? I'm not usually a complete idiot but I got it split by mistakes and now I can't seem to get just one view.

Hi Karen - and welcome to the forums
Can someone tell me how to close the split view on my iPad? I'm not usually a complete idiot but I got it split by mistakes and now I can't seem to get just one view.
Try holding down the small semi-circle at the end of the split divider and then drag it to the side

Anyone reading this in the future from original post date, what I did was:
1. Delete Faithlife Study Bible App
2. Reboot iPad
3. App store and download Faithlife Study Bible
4. After it has downloaded, Open the App, Sign-in, and the Bible will be on the left, and Study Notes on the right.
👏🏼👏🏼😀👏🏼
Well, that was short lived, I closed the App and opened it again and it is no longer side by side.
using iPad 4 with iOS 10.3.3

It depends on the version of the app and that is how it worked when this particular discussion was taking place
But this is a relatively old thread and the app has been updated.
Are there specific issues you are having that we can help with?
