Bug: Experimental Display issues
Firefox 50.1.0 shows an error (in Windows 10 and Linux Mint 18.1 Mate)
Chrome and Chromium 55.0.2883.87 on Linux Mint 18.1 Mate do not show Bible text, but right click shows Chapter and Verse location. Disabling Experimental Display allows resource text to appear: e.g. Bible and Commentary.
FYI: Midori 0.5.11 web browser on Linux Mint 18.1 shows Bible and Commentary with Experimental Display enabled.

Regarding Firefox showing an error, could you visit https://app.logos.com/books/LLS%3A1.0.710 with the dev tools open to the network tab? A screenshot would help, or if there are too many entries, any requests with a status other than 200, 206, or 304 are of interest. Additionally, any messages/logs in the console tab might be of help.
As for chrome in Linux Mint, it might be of note that certain GPU features are running under software acceleration only, though I'm not immediately sure what it might affect. Just checking, are you running the OS within a virtual machine, or directly on hardware?

Found logoscdn.com needed NoScript permissions:

Running Linux Mint 18.1 Mate in an Oracle Virtual Box 5.1.12 virtual machine on OS X 10.10.5 in a 27" iMac Retina Display.

Chrome and Firefox receive "An error (403 Forbidden) has occurred in response to this request." for:

Glad that it's now working in Firefox. Regarding the rendering issues in Chrome on Linux Mint, I am able to reproduce the problem (Linux Mint in a Parallels VM). We use WebGL for rendering, and it's not the first time we've seen problems with Chrome (but only when running within a Virtual Machine). You might want to check https://get.webgl.org/ (or other WebGL examples) to see if WebGL is working properly. As you have noted, some other browsers work fine. We will check for workarounds, but I don't have an estimate on when this might be fixed. Thanks again for reporting this!
