Linking NA27 to BDAG

Does anyone know how to link NA27 with BDAG so that when I double-click a word in NA27 it automatically opens BDAG to that word?

In the past, I would pull up NKJV and NA27. When I highlighted a word in NKJV, it would highlight the equivalent Greek word in NA27. Then, if I double-clicked the word in NA27, Logos would automatically open BDAG. It would even highlight the Scripture verse from the various nuances so that I would know which one was used for that particular verse.

Right now, whenever I click on a word in NA27, Logos opens "The Lexham Analytical Lexicon." How do I change this back to BDAG?

You should prioritize the BDAG as your top priority Greek lexicon. You do that in Library. Right click on the resource name, choose Prioritize this Resource. If it is the only lexicon you have done this with you are set. Otherwise you'll need to click on the Prioritize button and drag BDAG so it is above your other prioritized lexicons.

In the library's Prioritize pane, add BDAG to Prefer these resources, and/or ensure it is listed above other lexicons.

Thanks for the quick reply Mark. I did this. I even made it the very first item. The Lexham Lexicon is not even in my priorities. Same thing happens: When I double click on a word from NA27, Logos opens the Lexham lexicon to that word.

I used to have it set up with BDAG, but I don't know what happened. Any other suggestions?

This normally occurs if you use a Bible without morphological tagging. Unlike BDAG, the Lexham Analytical Lexicon includes entries for all word forms, not just lemmas, so it works for all Greek Bibles, not just morphologically tagged ones. The are several different versions of NA27, so do double-check you are using one with tagging.

That was it!!! I had NA27 "without morphological tagging" opened. I did not realize there was more than one version. When I switched to the other version it worked just like before!

Glad it's fixed [:)]. Long ago, I did the same, so I hid that version, to ensure I wouldn't make the same mistake twice!
