Complete Jewish Bible inconsistent whitespace chapter tags.

The Complete Jewish Bible uses inconsistent chapter tagging for blank lines (whitespace) between chapters.

Some whitespace is appropriately tagged as the upcoming chapter. Other whitespace is not tagged at all, which causes MultiView to momentarily close (and the resource to resize itself) while scrolling between chapters.

Here's an example of untagged whitespace between CJB Genesis 9 and 10 (causing MultiView resources to disappear). This should be tagged as Genesis 10.

Here's an example where the whitespace is tagged as Matthew 9 (and MultiView doesn't momentarily close while scrolling to the new chapter).

Could chapter tags please be uniformly applied to whitespace between chapters, to avoid MultiView resources from unnecessarily disappearing?

Thanks!

These missing tags actually trigger a bug (due to scrolling lag?), which can be reproduced while scrolling from Ecclesiastes 2 to 3.

When the pane resizes while scrolling because the MultiView closes, then resizes again to redisplay the MultiView resource, you're not necessarily back at Ecclesiastes 3:1.

The view often redraws itself at Ecclesiastes 3:3 or 3:5, and you then have to stop scrolling forward and switch to scrolling back, to be able to read the start of the chapter.

I can confirm I have the same issue with my multiview setup of this resource.  At the begnning of new chapters both the Jewish Study Bible and Tanakh disappear out of view and then reappear again.

Nearing the end of Gen 13...

Arriving at Gen 14, the other resources disappear from Multiview....

And to confirm Multiview was set at this point....

Moving into chapter 14 back to what I'd expect

This will be seen faster if the thread title is changed to begin with BUG.

The original post isn't editable. Does the "Edit" option disappear after a few hours?

Suspect field:Bible is turned off. Used Verbum 7.3 SR-2 with CJB mutliview enabled:

    To replicate:

    • Enable Multiview
    • Scroll down in Genesis 9 until Multivew Bible disappears
    • Click on a Bible verse: e.g. Genesis 11:27

For Multiview to reappear, need to scroll CJB so field Bible becomes enabled.

Complete Jewish Bible has non-Bible text between chapters with Parashot readings for Shabbot and Holidays.

Are you referring to some missing formatting markup in the Logos resource, that would tag those blank lines as part of a bible reference?

I really don't know any details about the markup language Logos uses for its resources, and don't expect I'd ever need to make a personal book to use in Logos.

That is true, but the issue doesn't appear to be triggered by the non-Bible text. MultiView remains visible while scrolling non-Bible text off-screen. You can even turn off non-Bible text, and still see MultiView disappear.

Apparently, it's the blank bible text line (following any Parashot readings, and) preceding the next chapter that isn't tagged with a specific bible reference, but I don't know if that's the right technical term or anything. You'd know the proper terminology to properly describe it to a FL employee who can fix the issue.

Yes, created follow-up Bug thread => Bug: 7.4 Beta 1 Multiview with Complete Jewish Bible

Personally have created two personal book Bibles.
