Bug: notes docs
Today, when I opened my notes docs it's suffered a strange behavior shown in the following picture. Each note uses almost half the place of the screen.
It appears on all of my devices (Sony Z3 Tablet Compact, Android 6.0.1 Germany; Samsung A3 Duos, Android 5.0.2 Brazil; the following device doesn't use as much space for each note as the others but more than usual: Samsung A3, Android 5.0.1 Germany; all devices with German UI). Latest Faithlife app update on Logos Bible, Verbum, Biblia.

Same problem here. I still dont know how to fix that. Is it because of not updating new version?

You can't actually fix this issue, Logos has to fix the bug that's causing this, that's the problem. Earlier this week I installed the beta version but found this bug is still there too. So, I requested they address this bug in the next beta version if possible, but haven't heard a reply yet. (FYI: my post in the beta forum is here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/139397.aspx)
You can try to install 'Bible vNext' from the Play store (mentioned above) which does not have this problem, but it seems that version isn't available for everyone. But you should know 'Bible vNext' (which is an older version) contains another bug with the reading plans where it only shows 'week 0' or 'week 1' instead of the actual dates - this bug was just fixed in the current production version. I've got both versions installed, I use Bible vNext when I want to access notes and the other for everything else.
Hope that helps...
EDIT: Sorry guys - - - looks like they pulled Bible vNext from the Play Store - so you just have to wait until they fix this bug.
Sure would be nice if Logos would fix this bug soon, it's been since last August. After they do, I'll never again let the app update until I've saved the current apk!
On a split pane with notes document and a Bible open, note editing opens a pop-up that obscures nearly the whole screen so I cannot view the Bible as I take the notes. This does not occur in the iPad or Windows applications - just Android. Is this the same problem that is noted above? If not, does anyone know a solution?
Which version number of the apps are you running, and how long did you wait after install them to view your note document?
I was able to reproduce this issue, I've written up a case. Thanks for the report!
Thanks, Bradley!!
It appeared first in version 5.4.4 (on the second day after updating and didn't seem to be a direct result of the update which irritated me). It persists in version update 5.4.5.
You are welcome George!! (Sorry, I couldn't help it - I'm Kevin, not Bradley).
Happy New Year, Kevin!
Just want to know if there is some hope that the issue mentioned above might be adressed soon? ...maybe it's a bug which appears only on a few devices?
Hi L.A,
There is already a case for this issue but I'm not sure when it will be resolved.
You are not alone LA, I've had the same issue for many months on both my android devices (ASUS 6.0 Tablet & Samsung 5.02 Phone).
FYI: I've just rolled back my tablet to version 5.3 which is available (paradoxically) in the app 'Bible vNext' on Google Play here
(I can't confirm the stability of this older version, but at least the notes are linked and so far it seems to be ok).
The link doesn't work for me. GooglePlayStore shows the result, but doesn't open the page of Bible vNext. Instead a blank page opens. Strange...
(Android 6.0.1 and 5.0.2 from Brazil with German UI)
I think you have to log-in to the google store with the same account you used to install the released app.
How did you reproduce the note doc issue?
