I'm using Verbum 6.14 SR-3 / 6.14.0.0079. I have a simple goal: I need to export a list of paragraphs in the Summa Theologica that contain the word "Tully" in them = Finding all of Aquinas' (explicit) references to Cicero.
I'm finding this to be a frustrating goal to achieve, however. There are two options: use the Search Panel to run a basic search, or run an inline search of the Summa.
(1) Search Panel: It's a easy search, but the results list collapses all the paragraphs into a single result for an article, putting a "(## x)" portion in the heading to indicate how many times "Tully" appears in the article. Thus, when I try to export these results, I get the collapsed versions.
(2) Inline Search: Another easy search, and for this one I have the option to show either "Article," "Paragraph," or "Sentence." None of the search results are collapsed, which is exactly what I need. However, there doesn't seem to be anyway to export the search results to a document!
(a) If I click the "Send this search to a new:" box, none of the options gives me anything useful. What I really need is a "Passage List" or "Clippings" option here.
(b) If I try to "Print / Export," it only gives me the current article on disply.
Does anyone have a way to achieve what I'm trying to get done? I can't figure it out. What would be ideal is an option in the inline search to send my search results to a "Clippings" document, or to simply "Print / Export" my search results directly.
