How would one search the entire bible to find out names of individuals or groups of people who actually went to a city of refuge for its intended purpose? Thank you.

Type the following into a Bible Search and check the results:

(Kedesh, Shechem, Kiriath-arba, Hebron, Bezer, Ramoth, Golan)

Have you considered the opposite situation? 2 Samuel 3, tells how Joab (acting as Avenger of Blood in his own twisted logic) killed Abner just before Abner entered Hebron, a city of refuge?

  • Type the following into a Bible Search and check the results:

(Kedesh, Shechem, Kiriath-arba, Hebron, Bezer, Ramoth, Golan)

Place tagging can expand search results:

    <Place Bozrah (in Moab)> OR <Place Ramoth-gilead> OR <Place Golan> OR <Place Hebron (city)> OR <Place Shechem (city)> OR <Place Kedesh-naphtali>
