Bible Study Magazine discount codes

Bible Study Magazine (BSM) from time to time has published discount codes for certain products. They all seem to be very hit and miss. They usually are only good at a specific website, but sometimes the code can be entered in your cart. I've usually had to email BSM CS to get them to do something in order to make them work.
Some of them may be working, but if I already own the resource they won't show. So, that may be my problem.
Has anyone found a way to use the BSM discount websites or discount codes published in each issue and actually get a discount? I've emailed BSM CS and they are looking into it. I just wondered if someone on the Forum had discovered the secret. I'm not looking for codes, but the method of how to take advantage of them.
Thanks, Dale Heath

It has been a few months now since there were any codes from BSM. That is one of the reasons I subscribed was for the sales on select titles. Now that they have taken that away, its another strange thing that has happened without warning at FL.

Yet they still publish a website location which leads you to believe the titles are discounted?

Interesting.
The Bock mobile ed course advertised in the January/February issue is discounted as advertised, but as you say the "deals" page features seven products which aren't discounted at all.
I think somewhere along the line - either in the magazine or on the website - somebody forgot to say "use coupon code whatever" so nothing is actually discounted.

yeah, regular price is not much of a deal

Hi Dale,
I'm sorry about the confusion about coupon codes for (or from) BSM. Can you give some examples of coupons along with the issue(s) and page numbers that had coupons you've had problems with?
Some coupons only require you to go to a particular URL, and order the product add the product to your cart (BSM Jan-Feb '17, pg 34), some require you to go to a specific URL and add a coupon code (BSM Jan-Feb '17, pg 27). Others may require for you to add an item to the cart in addition to the thing for which the coupon is for. All of these should be clearly stated with the offer. I want to also point out that there are some coupons in ads in BSM. Other than running the add we can't control how those codes work (BSM Jan-Feb '17, pg 7).

This is exactly the page we are talking about - there are seven individual products on that page and not a single one of them is discounted. The specific product mentioned in the mag on that page is priced at $27.99 and not discounted

Actually, if you hit the add to cart button you don't, although I think you should have to!

Tommy Ball, thank you. On pg. 8, it shows Logos.com/BSMSavings. When I go there, I see an ad for Logos 7 and below that are 7 resources with prices. None of the prices are greyed out, so I think they are not owned by me. They are not slashed with a lower price replacing it, so I think those are not on sale, just regular prices. This is what I have come to understand are the Logos standards.
On the chance that BSM is different, I click on the first one. I find that I already own it, but I discover it is on sale by going to the resource listing, which is an extra step for me. Since I already own it, it's just not beneficial to me.
So, I click on the next 2. I don't own them, but they aren't on sale. Or are they? How do I find out? I try the resource listing, but it's the same price. Why are they on the sale page? Do I need a special hidden discount code?
I click on the other 4. I already own them and they aren't on sale. So, out of the 7, only one is on sale. Why are the others there?
So, I add the 2 that I don't own to my cart and enter BSMSavings as the code. Invalid code. This happens with other obscure codes I try, BSM7, etc. So how do I get a discount on the 2 resources? New Beacon Bible Commentary: Ezekiel and The Majesty of Mystery: Celebrating the Glory of an Incomprehensible God.
Are $25.99 and $17.99 the sale prices? They don't appear to be, they appear to be the regular prices. How do I know I'm getting a discount?
BSMBOCK behaved the way I thought it should.
Can you help me understand how Logos.com/BSMSavings should behave and how to use it? How do I know I'm getting a sale price?
Thanks, Dale Heath.

There are currently four of the seven on the BSM sale page that have reduced prices. You have to compare the listed price on the sale page to the product page or add the item to your cart and enter the BSM discount code to tell.
The Majesty of Mystery: Celebrating the Glory of an Incomprehensible God (Logos Edition)
Thanks BSM, Dale Heath

Hi Dale,
Thanks for your feedback, we have fixed the BSM sales pages. All Lexham products featured on the BSM sale pages will now have a 10% discount applied.
Thanks!
