Generating a Citation

Hi there

A quick question, if anyone can help. I want to get a citation, including page number etc from a particular resource in Logos 7 - when I highlight the relevant section and right click there doesn't seem to be an obvious option to get a citation similar to the following:

Wenham, G. J. (1998). Genesis 1–15 (Vol. 1, p. 11). Dallas: Word, Incorporated.

I know that I can simply copy the whole text and get the citation at the end, but I simply want to reference the resource without quoting it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

thanks

Paul

If you click on the "Resource Information" button at the top right of the resource and scroll down you will find a Citation section. It gives you most of what you want but doesn't include the page number

    Hi Paul,

Adding to Graham's solution, if you need a solution for multiple citations at once you could use the Bibliography document. This video was made in light of Logos 5, but the steps are the same.

Thanks for the input guys. I have to say I'm surprised that there isn't an obvious way to do this.

paste a quote (only needs to be a couple words) from the page you want to cite. This will generate a footnote. Then delete all of the quote except for the superscripted number that indicates a footnote. This may be easier than citing from the "resource information" then adding the page number.

As a hint, you may need to highlight the footnote and use Word to "remove hyperlink". I just submitted a paper and my prof wasn't impressed by the blue underlined title.
