Preserving Highlighting in export to MS Word
I there a way of preserving Highlighting in export to MS Word? I search for two words, and they are highlighted differently in Logos. When I export to MS Word, the highlighting disappears.
I wish to maintain it to show in the various scriptures which word is being used.
Is this do-able?

Thanks for the post! If I recall correctly, the highlight is mostly within Logos and when you copy something to move over to word it only copies the text and not the style of what you're copying over. (style in this case meaning the highlight) So unfortunately this isn't do-able due to clipboard limitations with moving text through Windows/Mac OS. I hope this answers your question.

Some things in the style can be carried over. I think bold, italics & underline. It should be noted that MSFT Word doesn't nearly have the same capabilities of text markup as does Logos. They are simply incompatible systems.
If you REALLY want the highlights to carry over, your only option is to take a screen shot.

FWIW - The top line was pasted using "paste special" and choosing "RTF." The second was using normal paste. This is Word 15.31 on Mac. In both cases bold and italics carried over. The first one additionally has ALL CAPS.

That still wouldn't bring in the highlights though, right? Have you tested this?

I believe the only highlight pallet to carry over to Microsoft Word is the foreground colors in the solid highlight pallet.

It would bring them over, since PDF retains the highlights which export to Word does not do - however, after opening the PDF in Word 2016 the format I saw in Word was "weird" and the highlights not associated with the right text in Word. Much better experience with exporting to XPS and then using a converter on the web to build a Word docx file from this.

I don't know how to do this, but it would be interesting to build a personal book which listed the various styles... then to highlight each with the appropriate style and see what could possibly carry over. A user could then potentially create a palette with only styles that could be carried over in this fashion.

I can print to PDF just fine as long as I don't have any search highlights showing. When I do, the Print/Export panel has a message that, "This panel supports export only" and all the print commands/options are greyed out and not clickable.
In addition, when I try to print to HTML, it crashes Logos, every time.
This would all be fine if FL would add Microsoft Print to PDF as one of the options on the export list. But they don't.

In fact it is one of the installed printer drivers under Win 10, so I can easily print to it, and it retains the color-highlights I use. The issue is when I open this file in Word.

As an alternative, to get a document of some sort that lets me know which word is used when searching for synonyms such as
"lemma:γινώσκω OR lemma:οἶδα" if the actual Greek word was to be substituted, that would be as good, or better.
Is this do-able?

Search your favourite Greek bible and select Analysis view.
Select the columns you want and then Export to Spreadsheet.

Correct, but you've missed my point. That is a Print command. After running an inline search, all Print commands are disabled. The window says, "Export only."
If the Print to PDF was an Export option, it could then be used even with the print commands disabled.

An extremely valuable alternative would be to be able to choose to substitute (or include in brackets) the Greek words in the output.
Exporting to excel as Dave suggested is good, but not so easy to get into a handout or other document.
