I've taken more of an interest in audiobooks since my eyesight is beginning to fail. This link has a lot of pre-pubs and collections, along with regular titles.

It would be nice if FL would add some of these to the LN member's benefit, free to listen, discount, etc.

How about starting FL Audio, kind of like FL TV?

I am finding a great work around for audio books is opening books in the Vyrso app on my iPhone and enable the text to speech feature so that my phone reads books to me. I have to put up with wonky scrolling that sometimes repeats a few words that are both at the bottom of one screen and the top of the next and it has a real fit with Bible abbreviations (Gen. is read as General, Isa. is read as "eesa"; Rev. is read as "Reverend") but it does allow me to multi-task while I drive.

I, too, use text to speech on my iPhone and have the same observations as you, David. Even with these nitpickings, the feature works really well for me. I use this feature at the gym when I'm spinning. I do find that I can't use the feature on books that are peppered with a lot of Scripture references in parentheses or I will lose my concentration.

    Agree David and Bill.

[T]he text to speech feature [...] has a real fit with Bible abbreviations (Gen. is read as General, Isa. is read as "eesa"; Rev. is read as "Reverend") but it does allow me to multi-task while I drive.

You can get around this to an extent - if you go to Settings->General->Accessibility->Speech->Pronunciations, you can add manual corrections to pronunciation that also covers book abbreviations. I've set it up so Gen=Genesis (instead of General) and Kgs=Kings (instead of kilograms), plus corrected pronunciations of common names there.

Do be careful not to make changes without thinking, though - I realised that e.g. Ex was less confusing left as is, or you get references to Exodus girlfriends, Exodus atheists etc. Not too common, but enough that it's jarring.
