First of all, I love Logos. I appreciate all of the work that Logos does.

Please enhance the Pentecostal Library. We deserve the same type of focus that you give the other branches of Christian belief.

Many customers are disappointed with your Pentecostal Library. You want us to pay you more than  $1,500.00 but, you have not truly gathered a high quality Pentecostal Library.

There are millions and millions of Pentecostals in the world. There are also millions of Carasmatic in the world. These are two separate belief systems.

The two largest Pentecostal denominations are Church of God, Cleveland Tennessee and Assemblies of God.

Both of these denominations have world-renowned Scholars.

Both of these denominations have large seminaries.

The Church of God Seminary:

The Assemblies of God Seminary:

Both seminaries have world-renowned authors teaching in these seminaries.

Both of these denominations have publishing houses.

A great place to start adding quality material to the Pentecostal section is by adding material from actual Pentecostal experts in the field.

Yes, you do have a few experts. But,  the Pentecostal section greatly pales in comparison to The experts that you have in every other category of Christian belief. We are customers also. We deserve to have the same type of treatment you give to the Calvinist, the Seventh Day Adventist, the Wesleyans, and others.

If you would show the Pentecostals the same amount of respect and attention you do these other branches of belief you could gain millions of more customers.

I know a lot of Scholars who are not interested in logos because of the poor focus on Pentecostal information period we don't need information written from Seventh Day Adventist, and others as much as we need material teaching our faith persuasion. Seventh-day Adventist/ Calvinists ... ( not trying to say anything derogatory about any particular believe. simply stating that our material is what is important to us.)

Please, focus on improving the Pentecostal Library.

Thank You,

Bishop Timothy R Carter

    Police enhance the Pentecostal Library...

Bishop Carter, you are not the first to make this observation. Still, there are many factors that contribute to this dearth of information, one of which is the historic skepticism of Pentecostals toward Biblical scholarship. Thankfully, that season has (mostly) passed now.

As an additional approach, consider writing to the publishers of the books and authors you wish to see in Logos. Urge them to make their material available in the Logos platform. For Logos to publish works in its system, both Logos and the original publishers must agree to have them in the Logos system.

I would be happy to write to publishing houses as well as individual authors.

Can you please provide me with the information I should share with those I contact? I need to know how to submit a book for publication. So that I can give that information to the Publishing House. What are the publishing requirements for Logos?

Where do they summit the books?

For Logos to publish works in its system, both Logos and the original publishers must agree to have them in the Logos system.

It also helps to have a dedicated product manager who can work with the publishers. Sometimes, due to turnover, no one is solely responsible for a denomination, and another FL employee has to be responsible for several denominations. I don't know how difficult it is for FL to find replacements, but I don't recall a specific Pentecostal/Charismatic manager posting on the forums in the last year or so.

I know many people have also asked for certain resources to be added, for over five years, and nothing has come of it. The Fire Bible would be a specific example.

Timothy, you might want to find out who is currently managing the Pentecostal/Charismatic bundles, and if that is their sole responsibility.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

For the publishing houses, I've gone to their web pages and looked for their contact information and sent emails to them that way. When I write them, I'd say something like "Please consider contracting with Faithlife, the publisher of Logos Bible Software, to publish your books. Logos is the gold-standard and market leader for Bible and theological research. Publishing your works in Logos would immediately broaden your publishing audience to the thousands of Logos users around the world."

If there were specific titles I'm interested in seeing in Logos I'd mention those as well.

. What are the publishing requirements for Logos?

That is something you and I don't need to worry about. The publishers and Logos can work that out.

Where do they summit the books?

Again, this is something they'd work out with Logos. I don't believe Logos accepts unsolicited works anyway. Contracts have to be drawn up, agreements signed, etc.

However, if you have specific works in mind that you'd like to see in Logos, the "Suggestions" forum is the best place to do that.

How do I find out who is managing the P/C bundle?

One way would be to call the company and ask.
