Does anyone know which training videos are for Logos 7 basic? I keep looking at the video descriptions and none seem to be for Logos 7 basic. Please help. I would like to get as much out of my software as I can even tho I cannot afford anything better.

Eric:
Check out the Quickstart videos that come with Basic: https://ref.ly/logosres/quickstartl7;art=overview
Also, if it will help you, I am maintaining a blog with the aim of getting people at my church interested in Logos. http://logosbasic.blogspot.com/

What a great idea Robert. How many people from your church have you been able to recruit to become Logos users? What has been their response to your blogs?

Just a couple right now, people that I speak with regularly; but it really hasn't launched yet. I wanted one of the elders to sponsor it so that it would get serious attention, rather than just start spamming from the church directory. I think they will have the church Ministry Coordinator send out some kind of communication on it. I wanted to have a fair amount of material ready first, anyway. We have about 200 attendees; if 10-15 of them get into it, I'll consider it time well spent. There are a handful of young guys in the Men's Group who I think would like Logos, but probably don't have the disposable income. My sense is that if the average congregant knows about Logos at all, they're frightened by expense and complexity.
Thanks for asking.

Robert, thank you for the information on your Logos blog. I also am interested in showing what is available with and how to use Logos 7 Basic for the software reluctant of the church. I would like to restrict the resources I demonstrate to what is included with Logos 7 Basic. In that way someone following along the sessions I plan will not be confused by tools and resources they do not have. Is there a way to operate a regular Logos 7 version with only the Basic tools and resources available, or should a second account be set up that only installs and uses Logos 7 Basic? What is the FaithLife policy concerning one individual creating multiple accounts that do not share resources?
Shalom,

I'm assuming y'all have taken a look at the "DIY" material included in Logos 7 Basic?

Joseph:
I set up a second account, otherwise I would never remember who's on first. I doubt Faithlife cares. I think others have also, for various reasons. In WIndows 7, I also set up a second user to install the second Logos account. While the $25 coupon was still going, I picked up three bibles for that account, so FL made $5 on the second account.

Thanks. Although I have intended to since it came out a while back, I haven't, but plan to.

I also have set up a new operating system user for use with the 7 Basic demo system—tis the only way I am able to keep things sorted. [:^)]

Logos 7 and Verbum 7 can be used (at the same time) with different Faihlife accounts by the same operating system user.
LT271: Study the Bible with Logos: Jonah 1 (30 day Challenge) has many usable items with Basic and Verbum Basic (especially the first Transcript has Resources section for each segment with Library & corresponding Feature Set. For example, Bronze library recommends Logos 7 Full Feature Set that includes New Testament Use of the Old Testament
Visual Filters are usable with Basic so can "see" range of Greek verbal expression. Logos Wiki has => Examples of visual filters
