Constant Indexing, Is This Normal?

I'll admit, shame on me, I haven't opened Logos in about a month.

When I opened it today it downloaded a ton of resources and began indexing, which I expected.

However, after it completed the index it told me resources were ready to be added to the library so I closed it down and started L7 up again and indexing started again, also expected.

However, when indexing finished, it started indexing again. I didn't think much about it, then it indexed AGAIN after that completed.

Anybody else seeing this?

I'm no expert on indexing, but I do believe I had something like this happen recently. I hadn't updated for a while, so it seemed to go through the process in multiple stages.

If it's stopped indexing for now, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's doing a continual loop, then you should probably post logs for the MVPs to look at.

This is Logos Now monthly annoying resources. Users complained a lot about it but Faithlife didn't do anything about it. If you are subscriber, expect and get used to it. There is nothing you can do about it unless you cancel membership and wait till it expires

Hey David! Logos ca can be a fickle beast when it comes to indexing, especially if the software hasn't been operating in an extended period of time. If the indexing continues however, it's bordering the line of unusual. If that's the case, please post your indexer logs in this thread following the instructions here

I want to mention again this is only if it's continuing to index repeatedly. If it's all done and hasn't reoccurred, you should be all set!

I ended up just nuking the index and rebuilding, that seemed to fix the issue.
