For some reason I did something that produced two narrow windows each with identical NKJV texts but under one NKJV title with a plus sign. This is what it looks like: NKJV+.

Hey Jerry! Would you be able to include a screenshot of what you're seeing? That'll help us recognize what you might be referring to and explain better what you might be encountering.

If this is similar to what you are seeing I have the answer.
The above shows a normal window tab and an open multi-view window. Note the open window has a + sign after the Bible version to denote it as a multi-view window.,
Click on the 3 parallel lines in this or any Bible window, and you will see options for setting up multiple Bibles in a single window. Apparently you got there accidentally.
It appears to come from Multiview resources
Select the multiview icon (see arrow above) and deselect the options that are circled.
