Suggestion: SPCK Revelation Commentary by Stephen S. Smalley...

...author of the volume on 1, 2, 3 John in the Word Biblical Commentary set.
An excellent commentary that's very readable, yet also very technical, engaging well with the Greek. Was the main one recommended by my lecturer in UTC, and he earned his doctorate in Revelation! Would love to have a Logos copy.
Full Title: "The Revelation to John: A Commentary on the Greek Text of the Apocalypse"

[Y]. Suggested previously by me, see this thread http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10387.aspx Good that you are also making a request, the more request the better.
I was under the impression that Smalley's Revelation Is only available through IVP? Anyway Smalley's commentary will make a great addition to the Logos library. Thanks for suggesting

So I now see, although it's a bit disheartening that it was suggested well over a year ago and they haven't put it up yet
I would think that such a resource by such a prominent scholar would have found its way in by now.

Be not dismayed.
Ps 126.5-6
5 May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, carrying their sheaves.- It sometimes take a while.
- Argh ! I hate this list software. Things never appear as they should.

Thank you for sharing that!
My dismay was that I'm taking a module in Revelation at the minute and I'm probably going to have to pay for a paper copy. Oh well...

I hadn't been in Psalm 126 for months and am grateful for the reminder.

One thousand apologies for reviving a (very) old thread. I assume you have seen that Smalley's SPCK commentary has been made available through logos here:
But I was wondering what, if any, differences exist between Smalley's SPCK commentary on Revelation and his IVP commentary on Revelation. Do any of you know the answer to that question? Thanks!
Grace and Peace!
