Right now MacArthur is 11 votes behind Witherington.
It's now 10 votes. It could still go either way.
Only 8 votes separating them.
6 votes now
Tied at 2265 now.
Bock and Bonhoeffer have an interesting battle with 11 votes separating them. The last 24 hours usually brings in quite a number of votes so we will see. Personally hoping for MacArthur and Bock.
MacArthur is 3 votes behind and Bock and Bonhoeffer are tied.
I have been watching it all day, and it is like watching a back and forth basketball game. Tense! The interesting thing will be to see who comes out of each matchup and the winner of those two plays each other.
MacArthur ahead by 2 and Bock behind by 1.
If MacArthur wins, I surely hope some of his commentaries go on sale; otherwise, I will not be buying any of his other works. I already have them.
I'm only in it for his commentaries. I have most of his other books already.
I need the last couple of Luke in MNTC- will not be interested in With's books
3 more votes for Witherington in the last minute.
I don't think it will happen, but I wonder what Logos would do in a tie?
Its 2314 votes each...
Probably find some votes they hadn't counted

There will be a recalculation due to a box in the background someone forgot to tick that is discovered at the last minute.
I see that John MacArthur's commentaries are 30% off. Does this mean that the FACE-OFF is over between him and Ben Witherington????
Kudos to Faithlife for pulling off the temporary break up and 30% off the MacArthur commentaries!
Amen to that Paul N
Really happy about that!!!!
So who won, MacArthur or Witherington? I am really surprised (and pleased) that Ben Witherington ran so strong against a writer as popular as John MacArthur.
Ben Witherington advanced to the second round, 2367 votes to 2353.
They are two very popular writers. Personally, I am delighted to see Ben advance. There are a few of his resources I hope to add to my library, and that is a win for my seminary. (Of course, I am far too humble to take pride in that.)

I've got some of Ben's works on my wishlist[8-|]
