Printing Handouts - cannot get handout content to fit letter sized paper

The Handout concept and content is fine - would be great if I could actually get the full width of the two pages to print though !! No matter what settings I use on the Handout window and no matter how I try to set my color printers up (HP Photosmart and HP OfficeJet), I am consistently missing about 2 to 3mm of text in the right column of the right panel, even if I "Shrink to fit" and even if I try to print the original at 90% or 95% of full size (it is NOT close to the margins (has 15mm clear at the right) - just seems to be truncated no matter what I try - truncated in the sense that what the application seems to be sending to the printer is less than what is shown on the screen by about 2mm on the right, so what you see is NOT what you get). Even a borderless photo printer cannot get the full image of what is shown on the screen.

A means of adjusting the margins in the application might help ?

My current work around is to print a copy on my HP Laserjet P1005 which somehow CAN print the whole image as sent (but not in color), and then cut and slice together to have a full content color image from which to make copies.

Would also be useful to be able to change the date printed on Handouts (for those of us who try to prepare for our Small Groups a day or two in advance)....

Is there a way to do this already that I have missed ?

I ran into a similar problem, have you tried A4? That seemed to work better with my Lexmark than Letter.

Click on the date field and it will bring up a calendar.

Someone had to point this out to me. (perhaps I was suposed to guess because its in another color, but I didn't).

Thanks for the suggestion Terry: Yes, indeed, A4 does work better for the text in the right most column, only missing about 1mm now which makes it a lot easier to Guess words (only one letter missing iinstead of up to 3) - minor issue re cutting off the date and LOGOS mark at the bottom when fudging to use A4 and actually printing on letter, but my group will probably never notice that. [8-)]
