Sorry, I can't answer your question. I assume the app only allows you to purchase individual resources, right? Even if this is true (and it may be), you may be better off making purchases on the FL website. Does the app recognize academic & dynamic pricing? Can you buy bundles or libraries? What happens with refunds?

All good questions. What intrigues me here is that it seems like Amazon would be taking the financial hit, not Faithlife. If Amazon is willing to provide coins at a 20% discount, those coins would be then be used to pay Faithlife their full asking price for whatever is purchased. There would be no lost revenue on Faithlife's side of the equation, and that gives me an ever so tiny glimmer of hope here, which I am fully expecting to be extinguished by the end of the day, if not sooner. [:P]

I do not think that you can  buy resources from the IOS app, which renders the whole exercise a nullity.

I know nothing about Amazon Coins, but I would love it if somehow I could acquire Logos resources through Amazon. I don't have a lot of cashflow, but I *do* have a good bit of Amazon credit.

You can - click on the shopping trolley icon and you'll see a limited store. I wouldn't recommend it though - prices are generally higher, less likely to reflect sales, never going to show dynamic pricing, etc. I'd love to be able to hide the icon, though I admit that I don't even notice it half the time, and if it helps support the app I'm not really gonna argue with it.

On both my Kindle Fire and my Note 5 (Android) I appear to be able to access the complete store, including base packages, and I appear to be seeing the same prices and dynamic discounts as when I am on my desktop. What I do not see is a way to pay with Amazon coins, which the ad I am seeing tells me I can somehow do.

Interesting. 

For clarification, iOS doesn't have access to the full store due to app store rules. Since the iOS & Android forums are merged, users will end up talking past one another from time to time. 

Speaking in general, you can also get a 15-20% discount on iOS apps and in-app purchases by purchasing iTunes gift cards while they are on sale.

Your iTunes store credit balance also can be used to save on monthly/annual subscriptions such as Apple Music.

Amazon also gives away free coins for installing some free apps. Google finds lots of such promotions. I can't verify which ones are still valid, as they're all for US citizens only (as usual...)

This sounds too good to be true, but here is an ad I saw this morning in Amazon's app store saying I can use Amazon coins to make purchases from within the Bible app on my Kindle Fire

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like Amazon recently started running these ads on various kindle store listings. We use your Logos account to process purchases-- which is not affiliated with your Amazon account. 

While you can use Apple credit to buy in app purchases on iOS, you can't do that here. 

We're checking with Amazon to see if these ads can be removed from the listing. Sorry for any confusion!

Daniel, thank you for the response. That was pretty much what I was expecting to hear, but it is good to have a definitive answer (and much cheaper than spending  $400 on Amazon coins to get that answer the hard way!).
