Sermon Documents on iPad App

Do anyone use the Sermon document on your iPad when you preach for your notes? Can you shoot me a screen shot or two? I'd like to consider doing this myself, but would like to see what those sermon documents look like before I speak with Logos and my iPad.

Thanks!

Here's one screen shot.  You will be disappointed that the Bible references are not clickable on mobile devices.   So what I do is I project the logos Bible software on the classroom's screen,  that way the sermon outline shows and when I click on the reference the Bible opens on the side to the right verse so people can read along (since Bible references are clickable on my laptop).

    Here's an example

I have the Sermon Document on one half of the screen and a Bible on the other half

This is my sermon for this week (or at least the top of it). I'm trying to decide how best to utilize speaker labels, so for now, here's my key:

    Red/Large- Commands

    Blue- Assertion

    Yellow- Warning

    Green- Extrapolation

How are you doing the color coding?!?

i have been looking for that for quite some time now!

As a missionary, my notes are generally in English but I like to emphasize Spanish words in my notes.  What you have done would be perfect!

This is a new feature that was added last week. As long as you are running Logos 7.5.0.0031, you can click on "Speaker" in the top right hand corner of the sermon document, and select your emphases (see image):

  • I'm really enjoying the sermon option on my Ipad, but I wish I could edit the sermon on my Ipad.

  • Some of you guys very effectively use the Sermon function well, did you find a good tutorial or can you give one? LOL. On the web app and ipad seem almost non-functional or practically useless.
