Crash -- Logos 7 for Mac -- (sentence diagramming tool)
Very frequently (every few minutes), Logos 7 for Mac crashes while I'm trying to construct a sentence diagram using the sentence diagramming tool. This seems to happen when I attempt to highlight and move an element of the diagram. Attached is a log I created according to your instructions at https://www.logos.com/support/mac/report-problem.

Can you open the document and take a screenshot of the sentence diagram and post it here? That will help us in reproducing the crash.

Here's the diagram. Thanks for your help. I like the diagramming tool, but with its frequent crashes, combined with the slow launch time of Logos 7, it's frustrating to use.

Just a couple more questions. Did you select Text Flow diagram when you inserted the passage? What Greek Bible did you use? Do you know at what point the app crashes? Which part of the diagram are you trying to move?

Sorry to be late replying. I'm in the GMT time zone.
(1) No, I did not select Text Flow diagram. I used Line diagram.
(2) I'm using NA27 for the Greek text.
(3) The app has been crashing when I highlight an element of the diagram and try to move it to the right or left.
(4) The crashing problem doesn't seem to be associated with a particular element of the diagram. I know that it's happened when I've tried to move the "Subject Predicate" element and the "Right Conjunction" element. I believe it's also happened when I've tried to drag a particular word to a different position after I've already placed the word into the diagram..

I'm not able to reproduce this crash. I noticed that your logs are not current. Could you follow the instructions here: https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Logos_for_OS_X to enable logging? Then recreate the crash and upload the zip file here. Also if you could create a screencast (Jing is a free program)? A video might help clarify what steps you are taking.

O.K., I'll update my log and try a screencast tomorrow, then post results.
I had already looked at the logging instructions and thought that I'd follow them carefully. I'll take another log, though.

Hi, I'm sorry to have dropped this topic without following up. I can't seem to recreate the crash, so I guess I'll attribute it to user error for the time being.
