Information Disappears in Sermon Editor

Although I'm a real "gear head", I never discount user error. Smile Nevertheless, I decided to use the Sermon Editor this morning and noticed something frustratingly bizarre:

When I type in Key Topics and/or Key Passages, whatever I wrote disappears as soon as I click on something else. What am I missing?!?

For example, I could type "prayer" as a topic and as soon as I click in the Key Passages box, "prayer" disappears from the Key Topic box. The other fields seem to save as I go--no disappearing tricks.

I'm using Logos for Mac 7.5 SR-1 (7.5.0.0045).

Thanks for any help for what I might be doing wrong.

You need to select entries from the dropdown menu. So, for example:

Entering "prayer" results in a list of options and you need to click one such as the "Prayer Theme" (outlined in red)

Clicking that results in this

and these entries are persistent.

The same principle applies for Key Passages

Unfortunately, I have no option to select from a dropdown menu. At least, not from what I'm seeing. When I type in "prayer" nothing happens.

Update: it works fine now. Apparently, Logos was indexing in the background and that essentially shut down the dropdowns for Key Topics and Key Passages.

I've had the same issue with sermon editor as well, but it happens even when Logos isn't indexing or anything else. Sometimes it works, but other times no drop-downs appear even if I wait for several seconds. Thoughts?
