No, to the contrary. It is an updated edition, released to coincide with the movie (released today).
From the product page: "The new edition includes scores of revisions and additions, including updated material on archaeological and manuscript discoveries, fresh recommendations for further study, and an interview with the author that tells dramatic stories about the book's impact, provides behind-the-scenes information, and responds to critiques of the book by skeptics."
Alabama beat me to it... from what I can tell it is the full version and updated.
From looking at it on my phone it has 14 chapters plus intro and conclusion and an interview with Strobel. I'd have to dig out my dead tree version to confirm the length though
