No comment necessary...just thought that the Mac A13 has a very nice CONTRASTY loook....
I'm going to leave it at that....
Bob, I agree. I thought the end product of the Mac and windows version were suppose to be the same? Hmmm....
Ted
Ted,
Me too....the windows version isn't horrible...but the mac is so much better...I'm really struggling with the "too light to see things" concept....
I have two settings on my video card
1.) Darkened so I can see Logos 4 better
2.) All other apps.
I switch between them....what a pain....
I feel your burden my Windows Brethren. [U]

Actually the feature set is supposed to be the same, the Mac version will be centered around the way that Mac programs do things. For instance if they try and make us hit F5 to refresh our screen, I have visions of Angry Mac users visiting Logos headquarters complete with pitchforks and torches. There is actually a thread in the Mac forums started by Bob on this theme.

I'll settle for the contrast thing being adjusted...the Mac guys can have their "miminize-buttons-in-the-wrong-spot" just give me the contrast!
As I look at Alpha 13 of L4Mac I don't have a lot of sympathy for you. [:P]
That's interesting gentlemen: I ran the same exact search string with "my" Top Bibles and other than the outrageously (at least compared to the 1.27 sec on the Mac) return time...mine 16.53 sec(netbook), my results look about the same and I have no problem with my contrast..."love" and "joy" show up highlighted in each instance. I do keep my screen tilted back more when using Logos than I do with other programs and this may be part of the difference.

Why not we are of the same Logos family! Surely, even you must discourage the spirit of discontentment/covetousness[:)]. Don't sing that song i am not my brothers keeper![:D]
I feel your burden my Windows Brethren.
Since you do feel our burden and you are now our MAIN man in Logos[Y]. Myself and Bob would like you to use your new found influence in Logos to sort out this problem[:D]. Come on Joe, you are not about to deny/abandon your friends are you?[;)]
Blessing brother.
Ted.
Ah Joe let not thy empathy fall of deaf ears and let not your PC brethren go blind looking at difficult contrasting colors. As with our Mac brothers and sisters we serve one God and He created colors and contrast. Let them not be withheld from the saints. [:D]

Hmmm.... Ted I need to find the thread where I joking suggested diverting some resources from windows development to bring Mac along. My L4Win family didn't question my salvation, many of them decided that it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a Mac user to enter in to Heaven. After reading some of the responses that I got, I actually went out and moved my car to a different spot because I was afraid of slashed tires. [:'(]

O dear! Sorry to hear about that, no offense bro, some do take things too far.
No offense taken, I have talked to God about his plan of allowing sinner's into the Church, but he just won't listen to me. [;)] He is in charge, not me.
All right Ted and Kenneth, I will use all my power to intercede on your behalf :-)
Since I am running L4 on Mac via VM3, I am looking forward to natively running the Mac version and getting rid of this windows crutch all together.
"...Go tell Bob Pritchett to darken the windows version but I will harden his heart so that he will not darken the windows version....."
Hopefully, that won't be the way this goes.... [:$]

I thought about all of the excitement Brother Joe Miller displays about the Mac product and decided to download it last night. Although I haven't started to use it yet, your post truly encouraged me. Once completed, I think the Mac version is going to be awesome!
Now I'll get back into my devotions so I can ask God to take away my jealousy of Brother Joe, who is at the Mac World conference. Hey, he is closer to the iPad my heart desires, actually I think my heart needs (okay, I'm stretching the truth) and I can't stop thinking about it! Why can't I attend....where oh where is my iPad, oh yeah, back to your post. Thanks for sharing!
Have a blessed day!

So if we own a pc and logos platinum, an converted to a mac sometime in 2010, what would the cost be to change logos to mac (hypothetically speaking, in case my wife reads this post)
