Issue trying to paste the transliterated manuscript from LHI into anything but the forum
I found this post by Fr Devin explaining exactly what I wanted to do.
I setup my inline interlinear the same way, and use CMD-C to copy the selected text.
If I paste it (CMD-V) directly into this forum, (it somehow works here, and) I get the transliteration:
berē(ʾ)·šîṯʹ bā·rā(ʾ)ʹ ʾělō·hîmʹ ʾēṯʹ hǎš·šā·mǎʹ·yim weʾēṯʹ hā·ʾāʹ·rěṣVan der Merwe, C. (2004). The Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear Bible (Ge 1:1). Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press.
But when I try to paste the transliteration into Pages, TextEdit, or Notes, I somehow end up with the manuscript itself, not the transliteration:
בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֥ת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וְאֵ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃

I only have two options to paste: Paste, or Paste and Match Style.
What am I doing wrong?
This is with Logos Bible Software 7.5 SR-1 (7.5.0.0045) on macOS 10.12.4 (16E195).

Interestingly Father Devin's note speaks about pasting into Word - and I have just tried this on Word on Windows and it works as per his post.
Do you have the option to try Word on your Mac?

I don't own a license for Word, myself, and would prefer not to buy it just for this limited purpose (learning to read/pronounce Hebrew).
If it turns out that Logos can only paste transliterations into Word, it would be easier and cheaper for me to simply find another transliterated source to copy and paste from.

I don't think it's Word per se, but a text processing software that can work with complex formatting. On my Windows 10 machine this will paste okay in Word (Ctrl-V will use the default which is the RTL source formatting - but it will give the three options Fr. Devin decribes in his post), but will only yield the "text only"=Hebrew letters when pasting into a simple editor like notepad or Notescrap. I would suspect that word processing software such as the "Word Clone" in Open Office might be able to handle that.
It's great to see that the forum editor will allow the transliterated text as well - so if you want to continue using e.g. pages, you might consider pasting into the forum editor (or any other software that understands the formatting) and then copy/paste into pages.
From other forum posts it seems text processing on the Mac often has issues with RTL formatting and such stuff anyway, so every thread I read here about Hebrew and Macs ended up suggesting the Mellel text processing software (as the company comes from Israel, they probably know better).

It's not even a word processing need, which is why I'm reluctant to buy a word processor. I'm doing the pronunciation exercises assignment from the Logos Beginning Biblical Hebrew textbook, and wanted to have the transliterated text on hand, to catch any mistakes with my reading of the Hebrew.
For now, I've been pasting the transliterations into a Logos note attached to the practice text.
One particular Hebrew textbook that FL sells says, "Check your pronunciation against the cassette," but Logos doesn't supply the audio [:^)]
Ideally, (if there was Hebrew audio of the OT in Logos or) audio pronunciations for these digital textbooks, it would be much simpler to see if I'm pronouncing the words correctly.

You may want to check what your "Copy Bible Verses" tool is set to as it might be the cause for this.

Hadn't known about that.
Got excited thinking I could setup my own style to copy the transliteration, but it apparently only provides access to the [VerseText], not the transliteration fields.
I posted a suggestion asking FL to add transliterations, lemmas, etc., to the Copy Bible Verses tool, as that would be a very convenient way to copy what you specifically needed from a verse.

Have you tried copying from the Text Converter tool to see whether it copies right? (I mean transliterate your verse from within the tool and use the inbuilt function).

I hadn't tried that. Yes, it does! Excellent!
Thanks for that suggestion, Francis, as it's a better solution (since some of the Hebrew practice text isn't directly from the bible).

Have you seen https://www.logos.com/product/5960/hebrew-audio-pronunciations ? This should go a long way for you (just short of being an Audio OT in Hebrew)

I wish the HB101 Introduction to Biblical Hebrew course had pointed out the pronunciation tool. I could have been using it all this time.
