How to add my existing annotations, notes, highlights from BHS/WHM 4.2 to BHS/WHM 4.18?

So I opened up 4.18 and my annotations / notes are not there.

Notes can either be created "by selection" (against a particular block of text) or "by reference" (against a particular reference - and available in all versified resources). Highlights are always created by selection. And the fact you can't see your annotations / notes in BHS 4.18 shows that they have all been created by reference.

There is no automated way to do this but it is possible to do manually.

You need to open the Notes Document containing the notes / highlights (right-click on one of them, ensure that the text is selected on the right-hand menu, scroll down the left-side menu until you find "Open Annotation" and click it)

Then you will get something like this:

(Ignore the highlighted text in verses 34&35 of the NIV, that's something else I am working on)

Then - assuming you want to attach the annotation against "Jesus said" in verse 31 to the NRSV you need to select the relevant text in NRSV (click and drag your mouse over it), then hover over the top-right of the note in the notes document and select "Edit attachment point"

which will give you this

Click "attach to current selection" - and the highlight appears in the NRSV

Click "Done" and then repeat with other annotations.

I've shown it here with NIV and NRSV - the same will work with other resources such as BHS texts

Are you sure there is no brute force way to Select all BHS note attachment points and replace them with the newer version BHS note attachments points?

If there is I'm not aware of it - sorry.

I have many notes, hence my efforts to avoid opening, highlighting, etc. each of them individually. Just seems silly to open 2 identical texts (at least what's rendered), and go through note by note. 

I understand totally but I don't believe there is any way to do this using the Logos program. As you suggest it may be possible to do this at the database level but I wouldn't know where to start, it wouldn't be supported and synchronisation could potentially end up doing strange things to it as well!
