Logos 7 for Mac not indexing?

Hello everyone,

For the past week or so, when I open Logos it attempts to index but stops at 3%. I have restarted several times to give a chance to index again, but to no avail.

The primary difficulty with this is that the search function is basically disabled. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

Please ensure diagnostic logging is enabled and then post logs after indexing has stopped.

Bill - Someone smarter than me will have to diagnose. I did have some thoughts:

Have you restarted your computer?
Is there a reason you haven't updated macOS? The current version is 10.12.4. Likely not related, but always a good idea.
How much free space do you have on your drive?

I noticed this error message: Unable to open Reverse Interlinear resource RVI:NRSVAPOC. I'll be interested to see if this is related to your problem.

Good thoughts. I have restarted it. I am having some difficulties updating to the new OS for some reason. And I have 400GB free. Perhaps that error message is related.

That eliminates one possibility, but...

That could indicate another. What is happening? Have you done any checks on your drive? Hopefully that isn't the problem and a full fledged techie will provide you what you need. I did see that some indices from your installation were corrupted, but those should have been replaced.

Yeah, I am wondering the same thing. I have had problems with this for a couple of years. It will cooperate on and off, but then the app store cannot "authenticate" my update one day. it is one of those times. About 3 months ago I had to do a fresh install because things were acting up so badly.

Goes to reinforce my love/hate (5%:95%) relationship with technology. I will look into it again, but I've exhausted talking with Apple of that issue and they have no answers. If it is related to that, then I don't know what to do. We shall see. Thanks again for taking a look at it. I will see if I can get current on the OS again.

You should try Faithlife Customer Support as they can log onto your computer to diagnose the problem.
