"The application will no longer wait for syncing to complete on startup unless you have specified starting up to any recent layout."
What is the situation when I select "Most recent layout - local"? Does the application wait or not for syncing to complete? I hope that since this refers to a local layout, no sync needs to complete. Or am I wrong?

You are correct. It will only wait for sync to complete if you are using "Most recent layout - any". I've edited the release notes for clarity.
Thanks, Andrew.
After 5 months of frustration with Logos on my Mac, I am back to proper functionality without hanging and crashing. A big thanks to the entire support team and the developers. [:D]

current stable version
This version works far better than before with the propositional outlines.
It crashes when I use my NT layout at Mark 11:1, when I turn on propositional outlines with the Analytical Greek New Testament.
The Lexham discourse new Testament does not seem to have the propositional outlines option anymore.

Thanks for the crash report. I'm able to recreate this problem. I'll take a look.
The propositional outlines option is properly showing up for me in The Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament (LLS:LDGNT). Are you referring to a different resource?
Thanks a lot, Andrew!
The triangle in the visual filters menu was pointing towards right, therefore I did not see the options, sorry for that! [:$]
I was using the AGNT with propositional outlines because it has audio Greek on the left pane, the and LDGNT separately with the discourse outline on the right.
Since I can use the propositional outlines with LDGNT in the right pane, I am ok. for the time being.
Will the LDGNT have the read aloud Greek some day?

We found a fix for the crash, which will ship in an upcoming release.
Sorry, but I have no information on whether there are plans to support the Greek audio in the LDGNT.
I'm not trying to do anything fancy. Just trying to get this next stable release. I get a permission pop-up which I accept. Unexpectedly the next pop-up is a notice that the set up has failed. No details. I hope my question is not a reiteration of what has already been observed. Thanks for help.
Beloved,

Will do. Thanks, Philana
To others faced with this issue. If as in my instance you note that despite the set up fail notice the update continues to install, the ultimate outcome, if allowed to progress to completion, will be that the installation will succeed.
I cannot export my sermon to PowerPoint, either fully rendered or editable text. I simply get the error returned, 'Sorry! We were unable to export your sermon to PowerPoint'.
I can export Bible verses from a Bible via visual copy to PowerPoint.
Any ideas, please?
Hi Rob - and welcome to the forms
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
To ensure this doesn't get lost in this announcement thread please start a new thread in this forum and provide as many details as possible - including which version of Logos 7 you are using and whether you are running on Windows or Mac. I have seen another thread discussing a similar issue and it would be good to track this down.
Graham
Will do, Graham.
Thanks.

Ops. I spoke too early. I am still having issues. [:'(] But the developers are aware of it and continue to work on a fix.
Okay, I hate to be petty but is there any particular reason why the window title has been moved from the center to the left-hand side of the title bar? It throws off the symmetry and is kind of driving me nuts (yes I'm one of those people). Can that be moved back to the center if it's not too much trouble? SR-1 perhaps? Otherwise, the update is working great for me.
It was moved to be consistent with the way other Windows apps work. Think of it as a fix, and maybe you won't be so bothered.

Sigh. Okay... [:(] Thanks for the info.
This has been fixed in 7.6 SR-1.
I made a quick test in 7.6 SR-1 (7.6.0.0037) which came today and it seems to work.
Thanks a lot!
