Sermon Editor Question

If I save passages to a Sermon using Passage List, the Sermon Editor defaults to my Preferred Bible translation rather than the translation I used for Passage List.

Is that true?

Once I have created a sermon, changing my Preferred Bible does not change the translation for the existing sermon.

True?

I see how to individually change the translations in each slide in Sermon Editor but how do you globally change all the slides at once?

Hope this isn't too confusing. Just starting with Sermon Editor.

Yes - and I guess one of the reasons may be that in the Passage List you can display multiple versions at the same time and so some determination needs to be made about which version to use in the Sermon Editor. The preferred Bible seems like a reasonable choice

This is not currently possible but would be a nice feature to have. I would certainly use it!

I just want my Bible references hyperlinked on my mobile devices (e.g., iPad and iPhone). That way half of my screen would contain my sermon outline and the other half my preferred Bible to open verses when I click/tap on them. About 6 months ago they said it would be implemented, but nothing yet.

Incidentally I don't know if you are aware that it partly works.

If you just include a reference in a sentence then - as you point out - it doesn't link. If you "import" the reference - by entering the reference on a blank line and pressing enter then the resultant reference is hyperlinked and can be tapped as you require.

Not a complete solution but it is useful.

Yes Graham, the only problem with that is that when you import the reference the text shows too -- not very practical when you have a reference that includes 6 or 8 verses. But hopefully some day a solution will be provided. 👍
