Why is that the entire current set of Tyndale commentaries (49 volumes) costs $224 but the upgrade for 9 more volumes costs $159 ($119 on PreOrder)?

They already exist in the original- so these must be revisions- but for approx. $14 a book it must be a totally new version.
My comparison of what was available revealed that the content is very much the same, some references have been changed- NT Wrong for Trench in the James volume, and a few others as well.
So unless they can show me these are substantially a new or highly revised of the old versions of greater quality, I'll pass.
Moo's James, for example, is revised from 1985 to 2015.
That makes more sense. I've heard good things about the Skylar volume
Harrison on Leviticus was allegedly a bit out of date (1980) and concise, though, I thought it fine. Sklar should be good. He apparently relates Leviticus well to contemporary issues.
The old set is complete. I think I'll pass on the revised versions.
