BUG: Visual Copy doesn't match authors any more

I'm finally starting to use Visual copy and the Media tool (same thing) more and more. As I do more and more user issues are popping up.

Case in point: I wanted to create a slide for Wayne Grudem's definition of The Unchangeableness of God.

So I highlighted it, right clicked and chose visual copy.

Once again it pulls up a slide that is in no way a reasonable default (this is a slide image I used over a month ago, and now it is the default for everything?)

I am certain that in the past Visual copy used to automatically select the proper author image. This is the one I should have gotten, but had to go searching for.

I believe the tool would be more useful if it continued to search for an author specific slide, and if one exists, to default to using it. If I did not know that one existed, I would never use it, and now that there are multiple hundreds of slides to sort through my ability to already know what exists is shrinking.

Hey, TC. I've never really used this feature. Trying it now, with the same quote, I do see the correct behavior. I've tried a number of different options, changing slide, closing, reselecting, etc., but it always comes up with the correct author slide for me.

I am seeing the same as you

Worth noting that when you have the slide displayed you can click on the four squares icon to see other suggested options - the second of which is the one you are looking for (at least in my case)

Clicking on that gives the desired result

But I don't know why it isn't doing this for us in the first place

I now see the behavior you are seeing. After clicking on Copy or Send To, the default changes... I'm guessing that is as designed, thinking that if you change the background for that resource then you will likely want to continue with that as the new default. It seems both correct and wrong. Perhaps the option to keep as a new default should be more explicit.
