I am probably missing something, but I cannot build a custom reading plan.
It will not let me "drag a shortcut" and none of the "currently open" resources are available except the bible.
Same results on current Mac beta and current Windows stable.

Can you provide some more details such as the resource(s) you are trying to include in the custom plan
Are you able to post a screenshot showing what you are seeing?

I feel really silly. After struggling with it for 30 minutes this morning and knowing I had to be missing something, I posted here. Now, as I am going through the steps to explain it, as you requested, the dim light in my head began to glow and I figured it out.
