Hi - I just put John 1:1 in the Enter passage or topic box and after it brings up John in the ESV version I get the Death wheel and then Logos crashes and closes. 3312.LogosLogs.Pyckles.20170620-165108.zip

Does it crash with other passages?
If Logos crashes whilst opening, hold CMD key whilst opening and login. Does it crash? Can you go to the home page?
It starts off fine on the home page. I can get to at least 4 other books/passages in both OT and NT without an issue and the minute I go to John 1:1 it brings up the passage on the ESV window on the right and all kinds of references on the left. I click on one word on the ESV version and boom it crashes. Doesn't crash on the ESV word of any other book I tried. Very strange.
In the Layouts menu do you see the word "custom" alongside a Home Page Layout e.g.
If 'custom' appears next to the Passage layout, click it and then click 'Restore default' and then see if it crashes.
A screen shot would help.
That worked! Wow that was weird. I didn't even know there were custom layouts. Thank you SO much for the help!!

Layouts can become corrupt but it is not clear how it happens, nor (in this case) why there was a custom layout.
