L3 resources dropped from L4 due to licensing issues?

It appears that there are several resources which were part of the version 3 Libronix Scholar's library that were dropped from the L4 Scholar's Library, e.g. the Tyndale Concise Bible Commentary. Can anyone point me to a complete list of these omissions?

I don't think there are licensing issues. The Tyndale Concise Bible Commentary is still available (http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/TYNBIBCOMM), just isn't part of any of the base packages anymore. I don't know what goes into their decisions, but they do update the contents of the base packages from release to release, perhaps to reflect more the most requested resources by users. If you had Libronix Scholar's Library already, you'll still have all those resources when you upgrade to L4. They aren't removed. But if you are buying L4 new having never owned a prior version, then yes this resource will not be included and you'd have to buy it as an add-on.

I don't know where there's a list of all the resources that were included in Scholar's Library (or other base packages) for prior releases, to be able to compare with what's in it currently. The current list can be seen at http://www.logos.com/comparison.

I think there is a misunderstanding behind your question. All Logos 3 resources that you have are available in Logos 4. You don't need to have Logos 3 installed to see them. In fact that will make no difference at all.

Logos 4 recognizes the products you have synched your licenses for in Logos 3 plus any you purchased while owning Logos 4.

I think the original question was not about not having them but noticing that the new collections do not contain all the resources of the old ones. If you had it back then you have it now. If you buy a new collection today, you won't get them. That's all.

I had L3 prior to updating to L4. The Tyndale Concise Bible Commentary and other packages that i had all came over to L4. i specifically made sure after reading your post that the Tyndale Concise Bible Commentary was one of them and it is.

Actually what I'm trying to determine is the specific differences in library contents
between someone buying L4 for the first time and someone upgrading to
from L3 to L4. From my understanding, given the two options, someone upgrading from Scholar's L3 to L4 would end up with additional resources not available to the purchaser of a new L4 Scholar's Library, I'm just not sure which resources.
