Audio Book and Downloads

Good day everyone :)

I had bought the Unseen Realm audio book thinking that I would get the whole audio file to my device, in this case my phone as I have a job where I can listen to audio as I work. Once I downloaded though I tried turning off my internet and see if it would play, it would not. That tells me that either the whole file is not downloaded at all and I need to stream it or I just need the internet to play it even though most of it is on my device. I do not have access to internet at work so I would be using my data. Minimal data usage would be preferable so can anyone tell me which of these is correct (or even a third if I am not thinking of it). Thank you for your help. Kieth Anderson

Can we see a screenshot of the downloads? Have you tried killing and restarting the app?

I can't guarantee that this is the issue, but I suspect that you've downloaded the library resource without downloading the media itself - if you look at the information pane, you should see a "Media Downloads" option - did you use that?

I agree with James thought in what might be the issue. On the book info screen you will see the words media downloads. Click on this and you will then be taken to another screen where you can choose to download all or some of the chapter files. Screen shots below are for a different resource but you will see the same sory of thing. Video resources also work this way.

We realize this is a poor user experience. We have a case in to fix it, but for now you download the audio book (which is basically just a shell) and the audio files separately. I've made this same mistake myself. Thanks for reminding us that we need to address this.

Thank you all for the help. It seems once you know how to do it it is obvious lol.

    God Bless
