Wiersbe - Classic Sermon Series

I would like to suggest Wiersbe's Classic Sermon Series:

It consists of 39 volumes filled with sermons chosen by Wiersbe. The sermons themselves are by great preachers from previous generations. Each volume is a selection of sermons that focus around a single topic - though the sermons themselves are not designed to be topical sermons. Here is CBD's description:

Sometime ago I saw in another one's Libronix a collection of "golden" sermons from Chrystosom to modern day preachers, but I don't remember the title of the resource now.

Wiersbe's collection would be very welcome. I'd buy it.

Maybe you are referring to A Treasury of Great Preaching published by Nelson. It is sometimes in one of their inexpensive collections that you can find around the Internet.

Wiersbe also has a 2 or 3 volume collection entitled "Walking with the Giants." It is a collection of preachers through the centuries...maybe along the same lines as this collection being proposed.

I have a couple of these and they are good introductions to some famous preachers. I'd recommend them for Logos, too.

Though I appreciate the recent "Greatest Sermons" offering (and placed a $35 bid on them), I would still like to see this set of "Classic Sermons compiled by Warren Wiersbe being available in LOGOS.
