Logos Mobile App

Is there a way to sign out of your mobile app and sign in under a different user?  Example is my wife has a logos account, and I have a logos account.  I have a book she wants to read.  Is there a way to sign out of hers and sign in under mine so she can read it from her tablet?

    Hi Andrew,

Switching between two (or more) Faithlife accounts isn't currently supported in our mobile apps and there isn't a way to sign out (I'm not sure what the previous post referred to).

However, if your wife installs one of our other mobile reader apps and signs in using your account, she will be able to read any purchased resource in your account. She will still be using her own account in the Logos app.

Aside from Logos, Faithlife mobile apps include Vyrso, Verbum, Noet, Faithlife Study Bible and Biblia (the Spanish version).

In your case I would recommend the Verbum app as it is closest in features to the Logos app.

I don't know if you have actually tried to sign out of the Logos app because I just did and it works for me.. And after you logout, you then have an option to sign in to Logos you could then put a different e-mail and user password and logon to that account.

Kevin what is the Sign out tab under the user icon in the upper right corner for if it does not log you out?  Because it does sign you out and then you could login under a different e-mail and password.

The switching between users in the app may not be an option but you could think outside of the box.

Lee appears to be looking at the web app rather than the mobile app.

As has been mentioned, "no." Logos is designed for "one user." If the app had the ability to sign out and then sign in to a different account one of two things would happen: 1) The original users notes & documents would be deleted and have to be re downloaded any & every time users switched back & forth OR 2) the document/resource space for both would permanently reside on the device, taking up valuable space on the device. Although it might make sense in your situation to allocate space for two accounts on your device, it doesn't make sense for most users.

Example is my wife has a logos account, and I have a logos account.  I have a book she wants to read.  Is there a way to sign out of hers and sign in under mine so she can read it from her tablet?

For clarification: Although Logos is designed for "one user," FL has interpreted "one user" to include a husband & wife. She could just use your account and in doing so, prevent you from making multiple purchases of the same resources.

The other solutions mentioned is 1) to use the web app or 2) to have her download one of the other FL apps to log into your account. That would only take up a tiny bit more space (relatively speaking) than if she were able to log into your account.

What is the difference between Web app and mobile app?
    • The desktop app is downloaded and resides on a computer (windows, mac). This is the "full" version.
    • The web app uses a web browser and is continuing to add desktop app features. If you have access to it, click here https://app.logos.com
    • The mobile app is downloaded and resides on a mobile device (iOS or Android). Features are more limited.
