Searching for Faithlife Groups

I know this has been discussed before but I wanted to raise it again and see if I am missing something.

I have created a church group and exploring whether it will do what we need - I am currently the only member of it

If I run a search for the group I find it without any problems

However if someone who isn't a member of the group runs a search they don't find it

I know I could invite people and that would link them to the group but I would want the ability to publicise the group's existence in other ways - through our notice sheets, through email, through our Facebook page - and ask people to go to the group and request to join if they are interested.

Is there something I am missing here?
