Is there a keyboard shortcut to quickly set the Link Set of an open book?
I don't think there is because the documentation on the Resource Panel Menu includes the shortcuts but there is none for this particular command. Also, trying the command name in the command box neither invokes it nor related suggestions.
That's a shame. I was setting up a desktop with 12 commentaries and 4 Bibles that I wanted all to go to link set A. Took awhile so I thought there might be one. Needs one, but not a big deal since once you save your desktop you don't have to do it again. But I'd love to have a kb shortcut to set the current windows to A, B etc. using some combo plus A or B.
You can do it all by keyboard but I don't think it is faster:
(Instructions for Windows)
1. Alt +- (opens the resource panel)
2. Down arrow x 2 (to get to set link)
3. It will be on A by default, use Tab to move along to other letters and None (if you want A you can just hit Enter twice instead of using Tab. The first Enter will activate the default).
4. Press Enter
You can use CTL PageDown or PageUp to switch quickly between tabs. CTL F6 switches between windows.
Good tip. Thanks. I would love it if after hitting Alt+- you could hit the letter to change the Link Set: item.
