is there a way to enable the Apple Pencil on my iPad Pro to allow me to mark up and take notes in the IOS Logos app?

Hi Nancy, this has come up in a few other threads as well. Thanks for raising the question. I would love to see this as well. See also https://community.logos.com/forums/p/144642/907090.aspx

Thanks for the link Brad. The link you provided has a user who claims it does work. Can you expand on what you want to see which is different than what currently exists?
PS - To activate a link in the forums, add a space after the link:

Thanks Alabama. Yes, I saw that entry from Kenneth, but I'm not certain how he's using it for highlighting. It appears to me that that the usefulness of the pencil is pretty limited at this point. I can turn pages with it, and I can highlight a single word, if I go through a multiple click sequence, but so far the pencil is less efficient than my fingers. Have you discovered additional functionality that I've missed? I hope? [:)]
I would like to be able to highlight entire phrases, circle key words, perhaps make hand-written notes, and explore anything else the creative Faithlife developers could come up with.

I don't have one, but have just been given some gift money for that purpose. Although I am not expecting any announcements, I am waiting until after the event next week. You never know when surprises might be announced.

I have made a number of suggestions over the years which are unlikely to happen... or at least, unlikely to happen in the near future. It hasn't stopped me from making them anyway. [:)]
Unfortunately the mobile app is considered to be an supplement to the desktop app. For this reason I would not expect to see much development towards things that aren't supported on the desktop app. Additionally, I would not expect to see any development towards niche things... The iPad Pro is probably niche... the Apple Pencil certainly is. On the windows side, this is similar to users requesting more "touch friendly" development.

maybe if we all chipped in a few bucks and bought Bob an iPad Pro it would suddenly show up in the list of "get this done next week" items. [:D]

Currently using the Apple Pencil is no different than using your finger. It is a forgotten and potentialy powerful tool:
- First it’d be nice if the Pencil was able to highlight WITHOUT having to use the pause/drag gesture that you do with your finger.
- Second, utilize its pressure sensitivity capability by having access to guides within the text. This would be great for iPad with the Apple Pencil and 3D Touch on iPhones. This would be similar to the right click on desktop.
- Third, utilize its pressure sensitivity capability to allow quick access to prioritized or recent resources from the library tab. This too could be available on iPhone through 3D Touch.
- Finally, I would like to see highlighting shortcuts available while using your Apple Pencil, much like what is available in apple Notes currently. Would seem useful to include the option to have prioritized highlights.
