Pasting Text Into Microsoft Publisher From Logos 7

Hello,
I am readily able to copy and paste text from Logos 7 into Microsoft Word 2016 and Microsoft PowerPoint 2016, but I cannot paste text into a text box in Microsoft Publisher 2016 directly from Logos.
If I take the text and drop it into Notepad, and then copy it again from Notepad and then paste into Microsoft Publisher, it will paste like it should. I was wondering if I was perhaps missing some arcane (to me anyway) setting in Logos that was acting as a gremlin for my pasting into Publisher, or if I maybe found a zinger in Publisher. Since I'll bet a donut that someone here has Publisher installed in their PC, I'd appreciate anyone that is able giving this exercise a try and letting me know if it is just my machine or if it goes sideways for them as well.
Thank you very much,
Michael

Hmmm.... You've definitely found a problem.
I gave it a try. The "Copy Bible Verses" function worked just fine. However, when I went into another resource, highlighted and copied the text, that text wouldn't paste--no matter which variant of the paste function I used.
I've no idea how to even begin tracking down the cause of the problem. I would suspect, though, that the problem is something in Publisher as the text is making it into the Windows clipboard.

Hi Sean,
Thank you very much for taking the time to check for me on your machine. I was getting ready to embark on a new project that I could do either in Word or Publisher, and Publisher was looking to be a better fit, until I tried to paste into it from Logos.
Pasting into Publisher directly from Accordance and BibleWorks takes place like a charm, but most of my reference material is in Logos. I'll figure it out. [I]
Thanks again,
Michael

I just tried too. That's crazy. Why doesn't this work?

It certainly used to work with older versions of Logos. Before switching to a Mac we used Publisher to do our Sunday bulletins and the copy and paste worked. Now that we are on a Mac and no Publisher (thanks Microsoft) I haven't noticed that it no longer works. By the way, copy and paste does work with iStudio Publisher (Mac program) that we now use for our Sunday bulletins.

If I was maybe 10 years younger, I'd be looking at what Logos was placing into memory regions when you loaded up the clipboard. Now, I'd rather tease the cats with a laser for fun.

I have three Macs with Logos on them here and iStudio Publisher is on one of them. I'll give that a try. I just grabbed Mellel 4, so I can give that a twirl as well. Thanks for the feedback on using iStudio Publisher.

Hi Rick,
I found this yesterday playing around in Publisher. The problem I have with it is that I am trying to copy chunks of the KJV out of Logos and I want to retain the superscript verse numbers, and when I use this method all of the superscript formatting disappears.
Thank you for looking into this though. I'm sure that the programmers at Logos will take it to heart to see what's up and put a fix to it in short order. In the meantime I'll use some other route to get my work done.
Thanks again,
Michael

I had noticed that too. I was hoping you wouldn't need footnotes and such. I agree, it is troublesome and another program would be better if anything beyond a simple copy/paste is needed.
