Yea! and a question
Yea! Thank you for this Forum.
My wife has a Samsung Android and a Logos/Faithlife account.
She would like to turn on her tablet and then select an app that would take her directly to her NIV study bible that is in her account.
I had it set up that way using the Faithlife Study Bible app, but for some reason, today she had to go through the complete sign in process and then choose some other options and then select the NIV, etc. That's too confusing for her. She just wants an NIV study bible button. How do I set that up for her? Logos or Faithlife or what?
Thanks, Dale Heath

Sorry I don't fully understand
If you use the Logos Bible app - for example - and open the NIV study Bible then the next time you access the app you should return to that same resource where you left it.
Please clarify which bit of that isn't working for your wife's account.

It sounds like an update caused her to get logged out. Is that right? As Graham stated, it should open to where it was left off, under normal circumstance.
She just wants an NIV study bible button.
For clarification: Within the Logos ecosystem, "study bibles" just contain the notes. In a print version, the notes are typically below or to the side of the actual bible text. Is she wanting both at the same time, or just the bible notes, or just the bible text?
FWIW - A new version of the app does have a special button to take you directly to the bible. It is a welcome addition.

Yes, that's how it was working in the Faithlife app, and that's how it's working now that I've gone through the setup again with her. But, something caused it to get confused and lose it's way. Perhaps a software update/reset/glitch or whatever. I'd like to lock it in, so it always works the same way. I think my best shot is the NIV Olive Tree app.

Thanks Alabama, I'll look for the bible button, Dale (btw, she's 79 and I'm 80. All these 0 and 1's are confusing)
I just checked and she only has the text. $32 for the notes, maybe later.

FWIW, You don't have to be a senior for 1 and 0's to be confusing.[:)]

I am not sure when it will be pushed to stable, as it is currently in "beta." For what its worth, here is a screen shot. The blue logos icon at the bottom takes you immediately to your bible (as shown in the screenshot).

Now I remember why I chose the Faithlife app for her. It has the notes in it and works with the bible of your choice. Works great with the NIV until there's an update. [:O]
I'm looking forward to the updates for my Logos app, Dale Heath

I am not sure of the current status, but at one time (and perhaps currently), you can "purchase" the study notes for free. Once you do that, the notes are available in the other apps as well.
