How do I log out of Logos 7 Software?

Ok, this is probably a really stupid question and I'm just missing something simple.

I'm trying to log out of my wifes version of Logos 7 so that I can log into mine. When I start up Logos it automatically signs into her account. I can't find a log out link after it has started... where should I look?

What Platform/OS are you on? Logos doesn't work well in this scenario. What you most likely want to do is create a new user account on your OS for each of you and install Logos onto each of those accounts.

For Windows, hold down CTRL key while starting Logos. For Mac, launch Logos, then quickly press and hold the Command key until the login screen appears, then release Command key.

Then Sign in to your account.

Caveat I'm assuming you did not create your Logos account in a different operating system User profile/account.

The random number folder name in Data and Documents is created when you Sign in during installation. A different user can share this installation install Logos if they Sign in with their Account Id. Their Data and Documents will be stored under another random number folder. So it is actually a User Id and Logos tracks the accounts via the Users folder.

I use this (by design) method successfully in Windows with my wife's Logos account.

It is an ideal way to test/check a minimal account such as (free) Logos 7 Basic when your main account has everything e.g. Logos Now.

Thanks for correcting me, Dave. I was thinking that any time multiple users had been brought up before it was suggested to use multiple OS accounts, but that may have all been in the context of running different releases. I had never tried it before and should have tested before posting.

An alternate is using Logos for one account and Verbum for another account, which allows both Logos and Verbum to be used at the same time (with performance depending on computer resources since need adequate RAM and storage). Caveat: Verbum has several differences: e.g. canonical Bible Books.
