Mac OS X High Sierra

Hello,

I deleted all Logos software from my Macbook pro because there was an index problem impossible to solve.

I upgrade meanwhile in HIGH SIERRA.

Now I try to reinstall the all logos software and it does nothing. The menu is very strange; very little with "UNTITLED" written several times. I downloaded the DMG from Logos website.

Please help!

How are you opening the app? From the dock? Try the applications folder. If that doesn’t work, please describe the steps you used to install

I have downloaded the DMG.

Then I copied the LOGOS in Applications.

Then I launched the logos app from Applications folder.

And now the only thing I see is LOGOS with a submenu where there is UNTITLED written 5 times . Never had this before.

Where is it possible to download the DMG with a lower version if possible ?

You aren't supposed to copy it. You are supposed to double click on the DMG and then move the installation into the applications window. Is that what you did?

As far as I know, FL doesn't have a place for you to do that. However, the issue isn't likely related to the engine, but rather to your installation. You may need to call FL on the phone.

Once your Application Support database files have their internal version number upgraded, launching older application will crash to prevent database file issues.

If your Application Support file(s) have issue(s), then reinstalling Application bundle by copying from DMG has no effect. One idea is backing up your Application Support files followed by completing removing them, then launch application to create new set plus download your library. Logos wiki => Uninstalling Logos for Mac has complete steps for removing Application Support files.

Previous thread => Logos (Mac) has died. I need to resurrect it, but it's just a zombie. included comment about files overzealously deleted in a Logos4 folder.

Note: when Logos 4 was being ported from Windows to OS X, the developers used Logos4 for personal Application Support folder name, which now cannot be changed. Hindsight 20/20 would have been a version agnostic name.

Concur with removal of "Libronix DLS" since the final production version of Logos for Mac 1.2.2 (released on 17 Sep 2009) essentially became an e-Book reader after Safari 5 update on 20 July 2011 (released with OS X Lion).

For space management on an older MacBook Air internal SSD (128GB), have relocated two Logos4 folders to an external USB drive (128GB) whose contents are only read by application: Resources and WebCache. Resources folder is updated when a resource is licensed (purchased) followed by any update(s) published by Faithlife. WebCache gets files when Mobile Education media (videos) are downloaded. Go to this link: https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/crash and then apply the solution 2. It was a access rights on my account problem.
