Need Help (or bug) w/ NT use of the OT Tool

Can someone help me figure out how to change all of the verses to one specific bible version? When I click on the top to change the version only the version on the left changes. No matter what I do, change or click on the RSV shows on the right. See Photo.

How do I change it so the entire thing shown is NASB or NLT?

I tried removing the RSV from my prioritization list and now the right is empty!

Meanwhile, you can export from resources that do some of the same if you have them: David Jones' New Testament Passages in the Old Testament and David Philipps' Old Testament Passages in the New Testament. Both of these have full export/print capability. If needed, you can also search for intertext and then export the results to a passage list. Look up the context menu in places where you know there is such a passage to launch a search and learn the syntax (e.g., {Label Intertext WHERE Corpus ~ "New Testament" AND Relationship ~ "Citation" AND Source ~ <Is 7:14>}).

Bradley sir. I read through the other post you linked and that deals with Original Languages and the LXX; I do not have the LXX or any original language resource prioritized so this seems to be a different issue. Also that post is from January... Is this still an issue?

To further clarify my issue... the only thing I'm doing is opening the interactive and gonig to James. The NASB95 (non-paragragph) is my default and that shows fine on the left. But on the right (where the quotes appear) it only shows RSV. I thoght if I take the RSV off of my prioritization list that might help but when I did that, the right side comes up completely empty. It seems my tool is RSV or bust. The only bibles I have prioritized and in order are: NASB95, ESV, NLT, RSV, and the Message. How can I fix this so if I want to show the NLT on the left and right I can do so? I tried changing to all different versions but no matter what I did, I only got the RSV on the right.

Thank you Francis. I was able to do a print and export from those. What I am trying to pull up is all the quotes and allusions from the OT in James. How would I do a search for that and if I did, would it come up where the James reference is on one side and the Quote/Allusion on the other?

Side by side display is a functionality specific to the aforementioned resource and interactive, not the search window. So, no, it would not appear side by side but would return the places in the NT (or James) where OT material occurs.

I am too busy today to take the time to test and tweak a search string for you, but look it up in the help file to try to figure it out. You can also search the forums and wiki. Otherwise, hopefully, someone else will be able to pitch in.

As you can see, there are limitations to the search approach as you cannot see which passages in James are connected to the results.

You can also do an inline search starting from James and reversing the search criterion (look for source: Gen-Mal rather than target: James). This will produces the pericopes in which there is a hit with the verse(s) highlighted. Using the information pane, you can see what text of the OT ("intertext") is connected to this particular verse, but this is not a side-by-side display. You can only get the side by side display in the interactive or the aforementioned resources.

Wow. Thank you very much both! Fyi the rsv bug in experiencing is apparently a known bug so hopefully it'll get fixed in a later update
